Congratulations Aunt Leslie!

Yesterday, we went to the Feast of Fields festival at Vincent Massey Park where Ottawa restaurants partner with local organic farms to prepare seasonal dishes. Imperial restaurant was a participant and chef extraordinaire - my Aunt Leslie whose original creation of braised beef corn soft tacos with horseradish mayo and onion jam won top prize!!

Some things never change

They were not only dressed alike from the shirt down to the shoes but they also brought a 6-pack to share between 8 people.

Friends from afar

Lucky me! My friends Dave and Talia came all the way from Las Vegas to meet me! we had a great time 'lunching' in the market and my parents hosted their first post-baby dinner party (that I may or may not have slept through). I squeezed in alot of quality cuddling time with everyone too:)
