Toronto Rocks!

What a weekend! Mommy and Daddy took me to TO for the first time. We stayed with Uncle B-Rad and Private Riley. We went shopping, for walks, and out for several meals. I got to meet my new friend Jacob (he's in the overalls), and I also got to meet my TO cousins! Auntie Dolly and Uncle Millard had us over for an amazing brunch and I also got to hang out with cousin Maxx, Ian, Jory, Andrew, and of course Tory. Thanks so much for the amazing time. We're back in Ottawa safe and sound dreaming of our next visit to the big city...

Ari - Prince of the Rideau

I had my first weekend at the cottage and it was a blast! I enjoyed spending all the quality family time and all the fresh air! Before you know it I'll be water-skiing.

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Wow, my mom really likes shopping and I think this was my first of many trips to the mall......now it's time for a nap;)

Play Date

I had my first play date today outside the house at my friend Cameron's house....well maybe we did more sleeping than playing;)

One Hot Weekend

For mommy's sake, I'm glad it wasn't this hot when I was still in her tummy. We beat the heat on the weekend staying in doors with Uncle Brad, Auntie Karen and cousin Riley. Baxter, Riley, Brad and I spent some quality time napping together and Aunt Trina and Thomas stopped by too. Thomas has the magic touch, one minute in his arms and I'm fast asleep;) Can't wait until he can show me all his lego toys!!

Home Alone

Daddy's back at work so today's my first day home alone with Mommy and I have to say she's doing a fabulous job keeping my belly full and giving me lots of tummy time.

Not to worry Dad, Baxter's taking care of the breakfast dishes and putting in a load of laundry. Can't wait to cuddly with you after lunch! Love Ari

First FND

So yesterday Ari got all cleaned up with a bath and went to the Ross' for his first FND (Friday night dinner). Fran even took out the "cadillac" of strollers which apparently works because Ari slept the entire time!

Christine, Patty, and Xavier brought over some yummy dinner and I also got to meet Roz and her grandaughter Chloe!

Mystery Gifter

Thank you to whoever dropped the delicious lemon blueberry muffins on the front door step along with an adorable onesie with animals riding bicyles. We're very lucky to have such amazing friends and family - thank you to everyone for reading our blog, visiting the newest Wiseman and for all of the delicious food. We're all doing really well and not going hungry;)

Happy to report that Ari is now 8lbs 7 oz and has gained an ounce a day since Friday. His belly button fell off on Sunday and he started walking yesterday. Ok, maybe not, but this kid seems to be in fast forward....let's hope that up next is sleeping through the night.

Another update from Ari!

My auntie Chantal FINALLY came to visit me and we had a great cuddle session. Then, mom, dad and Baxter took me for my first walk through the 'hood!

Matt came by and gave Ari his first packs for Baseball and Hockey cards. Let's hope for some rare rookie cards! And Ari's cousins Amy and Elizabeth dropped by for a formal introduction...

An apple a day...

Ari had his first Dr.'s appointment yesterday. He is in great health, and after pooping and peeing all over himself and the examination table he had no problem with being checked out by the doctor. Look at those pecs!

Ari is a name that Vic and I love and when we found out that it means/derived from lion in Hebrew we knew it was right! Our little guy is a Leo. And Nathan was my mom's father's name, Nathan 'Cappy' Kaplan.
