A real big brother

While Louis has certainly takin over the role as the new Wiseman baby, Ari seems to have become a big brother overnight. He seems so old to us now!

Dreams dashed

Pediatrician won't release us until tomorrow....Jon's at the admission
desk now. If he can get us upgraded to business class on pure
persistence than I'm sure he'll get us into a private room!

Cheque please!

We still technically have another day/ night at the hospital but all 3
of us are very ready to head home. Louis is out of clean clothes and
Jon and I are out of patience with this tiny semi-private room without
a shower! After seeing Ari yesterday - who overnight turned into a
giant by the way - I can hardly wait to get home to him. So as soon as
Louis' blood work comes back hopefully we'll be discharged and home by
the afternoon:)

3 poops and a pee

Other than being tired this morning, Louis and I are doing great. When
the doctor told me at my appt yesterday that this baby would come like
a rocket, he wasn't kidding! Before the epidural could even be hooked
up, my water exploded and Louis arrived 6 mins later.

Besides Louis being born on William & Kate's wedding day, he also
shares this special day with my parents celebrating their 44th
anniversary and Stef and Trina their 11th today:)

Taking matters into my own hands

Stormed into the doctor's office without an appointment this morning
and just my luck Doc wasn't in today. My next scheduled appt isn't
until May 5th - 11 days past due which was freaking me out.
Persistence paid off and I got a hold of my doctor on the phone from
the office and within minutes I was having an ultrasound and got seen
by his colleague. Baby is doing great and I'm now 4 cm dialated! I
don't really want to miss the Royal wedding but I think this baby
might come soon!

Mekong to the Rescue

Well it's time to break out the big guns. I am planning to bring home some ridiculously spicy Chinese food tonight. We're willing to suffer through heartburn if it means getting this show on the road. We'll continue to keep you all posted!

Watching Paint Dry

Well not quite, I'm picking paint colours for the new house. Might
even make a chaperoned trip to Rona and Home Depot but I don't know if
I'll have enough time! Who am I kidding - this baby is so cozy when it
finally does rear his or her head, I'm sure we'll hear "put me back in!"

Killing Time

Still not feeling anything and I am not 'allowed' to go anywhere without an escort so while I have time to kill I thought I'd post some pictures from this past weekend. Ari caught on very quickly to the Easter egg hunt and had a blast with his cousins. We celebrated Greek style on Sunday at Dimitri's parents:)

Now only a few hours from d-day and still no sign of labour? A walk in the rain and excessive amounts of hot sauce didn't do the trick...so the wait continues....
