Yesterday, we went to the Feast of Fields festival at Vincent Massey Park where Ottawa restaurants partner with local organic farms to prepare seasonal dishes. Imperial restaurant was a participant and chef extraordinaire - my Aunt Leslie whose original creation of braised beef corn soft tacos with horseradish mayo and onion jam won top prize!!
